ITS OFFICIAL! I have had too much time on my hands. Thank glob for that. This past year was a whirlwind and I can't believe how many lessons I learned. Lots of tough and painfull ordeals but more amazingly beautiful triumphs. I know that each and every one of us is going through something difficult or missing and loosing people. It's incredibly important to recognize the pain and suffering of others and take full joy in any moment where life is easy or positive.
I am looking forward to the next six weeks of learning the potters wheel at SAIC. I believe that the ceramics department is the best kept secret of SAIC and would highly recommend taking a course there. Anyway, I will have a lot of clay to play with so... I will finally be able to make more of my ceramic work and would love to sell you some of it if you are interested. I am hoping to make some new and exciting work, more cups and bowls, more Oil'iv dishes, and if I have access to slip, more porcelain water pipes.
IF YOU HAVE ANY REQUESTS OR COMMISSIONS IN CLAY, THIS WOULD BE THE TIME TO LET ME KNOW. SHOOT ME AN INQUIRY AND ILL DO MY BEST TO PRICE AND MAKE IT FOR YOU.
Also, a BIG THANKS to anyone who saw or interacted with my body pillow at the ATTACHMENTS exhibition. I hope you swaddled yourself in my primary comfort and felt some moment of ease. That's all I hoped to give. If you took any photos I would love to see them. Maybe I'll post them to this site with your permission.
One last word of advice: Only take yourself as seriously as you need to.
My elongated body pillow "Primary Comfort" will be on display in the "Thing Lab" exhibition of the 2014 Graduate Design Show.
